ABOUT ME

Like many instructional designers, I discovered the field by accident. I learned that instructional design requires research, analysis, design, writing, collaboration and problem solving. Building and applying this interdisciplinary combination of skills continues to fuel my passion to create compelling, effective learning products.
It has also led me to a wide variety of employers, including a large HMO, a very small non-profit trade association, a small-ish SaaS corporation, and now for clients as a freelancer. My professional background is invaluable for working with different clients and meeting their specific needs. A project's available time, budget, existing resources, content/learning management systems and client expectations are all key to delivering products that meet client needs and exceeds client expectations.
